Privacy Policy — MG: Gentlemen Life

This Privacy Policy describes how the MG: Gentlemen Life mobile application (the “App”) handles your information. We built the App on a simple, gentlemanly principle: your data is your own. The App does not require an account, does not collect personal data on our servers, and does not sell or share anything about you with anyone.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store on our servers any of the following:

• Names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or any other contact details;
• Account credentials — the App has no registration or login;
• Location data;
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA) — the App contains no advertising and no ad SDKs;
• Analytics or behavioural tracking data — the App contains no analytics SDKs;
• Photos, videos, or camera imagery (see Section 3 below).

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

All of your in-app progress is stored only on your device, using Apple's standard local storage. This includes:

• The display name you enter when joining the club;
• Game progress: XP, level, rank, coins, streaks, high scores, achievements, and unlocked collection items;
• Training, lesson, and challenge completion records;
• App preferences (music, sound effects, haptics).

3. Camera and Photo Library

The App requests access to your camera and photo library for one purpose only: letting you set a profile portrait on your member card. The chosen image is saved locally on your device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. You may decline these permissions and use the App fully without them, and you can remove your portrait at any time.

4. Internet Content

Some sections of the App fetch publicly available reading content over the internet:

• Wikipedia (wikipedia.org) — article summaries and images in the “Reads” section;
• ZenQuotes (zenquotes.io) — the daily quote on the club home screen;
• An in-app browser that can open curated public websites (e.g. BBC Sport, The Guardian, IFAB, Wikipedia).

When the App requests content from these services, they receive standard technical request data (such as your IP address), exactly as any web browser would. We do not attach any personal or device identifiers to these requests. Third-party websites opened in the in-app browser are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads, no third-party tracking, no social features, and no user-generated content visible to others.

6. Data Security

Because your data never leaves your device, its security is provided by your device itself — Apple's sandboxing and, if enabled, your passcode and encryption. We recommend keeping your device protected, as any gentleman guards his club locker.

7. Your Rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on your behalf — you hold it all. You may erase everything at any time via Profile → Club Settings → Reset All Progress, or by deleting the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the App handles information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes of the corresponding update.
